Responsibilities
Tasks
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Pay and receive payments for goods
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Transportation/travel information
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to travel cross-border
- Willing to travel overnight

Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods as part of a team or convoy. Responsibilities include performing vehicle inspections, securing cargo, and recording fuel and distance data.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 7 months to 1 year of experience. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight and cross-border are essential.
