Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Position: Material Handler/Order Picker
Duties : This role is responsible for supporting our shipping and receiving department by picking orders (doors, hardware, door-related materials), unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, performing inventory counts and handling doors and door related materials.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
Compensation (depending on experience): $21 to $23 per hour

- Reach Truck Forklift experience preferred
- Hyster Forklift experience would be an asset
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull items up to 50 lbs., as well as maneuver items up to 100 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment
- Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities
- Good communication skills - verbal and written, for reporting issues or working with team members
- Prior door industry experience would be an asset

Responsibilities
Pick orders for doors, hardware, and related materials; unload inbound shipments and load customer trucks. Perform inventory counts and safely handle doors and other related materials.
Requirements
Forklift experience is required; reach truck experience is preferred, and Hyster forklift experience is an asset. Candidates should be able to interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels, safely handle heavy items, count accurately, and communicate effectively; prior door industry experience is an asset.
