Job Description
We are looking for skilled Echo technologists to work at our new North York location OMR. Alliance Specialty Care Centres is a comprehensive one-stop clinic for specialist care (Cardiology, Neurology, Respirology) dedicated to providing our community with exceptional specialist care. We provide physician consult and perform echocardiography.
Employment type: Full-time / Part-time
New graduates are welcome.
Qualifications
Graduated from a recognized echocardiography program
Must hold active membership with Sonography Canada or the ARDMS
Member in good standing with the CMRITO
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
Demonstrated problem assessment skills
Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
Demonstrated individual leadership skills
Able to independently perform TTE studies
Able to review requisitions and patient history to identify physicians' requirements and to check with the reading cardiologist if uncertain
Able to ensuring the proper process is followed in the performance of the requested service and that the testing performed is accurate and valid and all the required views are taken
Able to maintain and apply program accreditation standards to all the studies
Able to maintain a close communication link and working relationship with staff at all levels
