Job Description
We are looking for skilled EMG technicians to work at our new North York location OMR. Alliance Specialty Care Centres is a comprehensive one-stop clinic for specialist care (Cardiology, Neurology, Respirology) dedicated to providing our community with exceptional specialist care. We provide physician consult and perform echocardiography.
Employment type: Full-time / Part-time
New graduates are welcome.
Qualifications
Registered as an EMG Technician (BRETC and A.E.T.C registration)
Current BCLS as asset
ACLS an asset
Proven basic knowledge about the nervous system, the human anatomy and physiology
Proven experience in operating electromyography equipment to test the electrical activity of muscle disease or denervation
Able to work independently in a fast paced environment, assess patient capabilities and limitations and make practice adjustments as necessary
Ability to interpret and evaluate clinical data and information
Commitment to maintain appropriate registration / affiliations, participate with regular in-service education sessions
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills and be able to work accurately and productively under stress
Demonstrated pattern of prioritization and time-management skills
