Requirement
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Ontario security guard license
- Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24 hours per week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C
- Should reside in Brantford, Ontario
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
- Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
- Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.

Responsibilities
Control access to the facility, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV and other security equipment, and follow site safety and emergency procedures. Maintain accurate records and reports, provide professional customer service, and manage or de-escalate incidents as needed.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid Ontario security guard license and valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification, be eligible to work in Canada for up to 24 hours per week, and reside in Brantford.
