Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Overview
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Requirement
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid MB security guard license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be proficient using computer
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Access control for the facility/area
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
- Vehicle Gate and Console duties

Responsibilities
Control access to the facility, monitor security-room equipment, and perform vehicle gate and console duties while maintaining a professional, customer-friendly presence. Follow site safety and emergency procedures, complete required training, and maintain accurate records and incident reports.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid Manitoba security guard license and valid First Aid and CPR certification, be eligible to work in Canada for more than 40 hours per week, and be at least 18 years old.
