Pay Rate: $ 19.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Fri -Availability from 3pm to 11pm

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard- Distribution Center in Delta, BC.
Job Title: Security Guard- Distribution Center
Job Location: Delta, BC
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $ 19.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Fri -Availability from 3pm to 11pm
Requirement
- Personal Vehicle is required for commute (site is not transit accessible during shift timings)
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Standing and Walking for a long period of time.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid BC security license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada for upto 40 hours per week.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Being able to wear steel toed shoes.
- Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
- Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
- Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
- Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
- Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
- Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.

Responsibilities
Patrol the distribution center, follow site protocols, respond to emergencies, and help maintain a safe environment. Monitor security equipment, manage and de-escalate incidents, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid BC security license, be eligible to work in Canada for up to 40 hours per week, and be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, report-writing and note-taking experience, CCTV knowledge, a personal vehicle, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and wear steel-toed shoes are required.
