We are looking for a UX Researcher and Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining code components within Aloe and its tooling. You will work in a close-knit team that spans engineering, UX, cognitive science, design, and operations, in our shared mission to invent, implement, and deliver the most significant user interface changes in a generation.

- Design and conduct user research studies to uncover deep insights about user behavior and needs
- Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and data analysis
- Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes using modern design tools like Figma
- Ability to implement prototypes in code using frameworks like Svelte
- Experience synthesizing research findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Strong communication skills to present research findings to diverse stakeholders
- Experience working in cross-functional product development teams
- Excellent documentation and storytelling abilities to share user insights effectively
- Ability to balance multiple research initiatives while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for understanding user behavior and creating exceptional user experiences
- Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes
- Background in cognitive science or related field
- Previous experience in an Agile product development environment
- Familiarity with web development technologies and principles
- Experience conducting remote user research sessions
- Portfolio demonstrating both research methods and prototyping capabilities
