Cloud DevOps Engineer
12 month contract opportunity, potential to extend.
This is an on-site opportunity.
Five times per week in the downtown Vancouver office.
***KEY SKILLS***
- AWS, GCP or Azure Cloud
- Terraform - infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
- Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting on AKS
- Helm, Argo CD and GitOps
Desired skills & experience:
- AWS, GCP or Azure
- Terraform
- Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on Kubernetes using Helm and Argo CD
- Create and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and GitOps deployment configurations across environments
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and application issues involving pods, services, ingress, configuration, resource limits, and connectivity
- Build and maintain container images and manage their publication to container registries.
- Create CI/CD pipelines to make application releases reliable and repeatable
$65 - $75 per hour for an INC consultant

Responsibilities
Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure, and deploy, configure, and maintain applications on Kubernetes using Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps. Build container images, manage their publication to registries, create reliable CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot deployment and application issues across environments.
Requirements
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Terraform is desired. Candidates should be able to deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes applications using Helm and Argo CD, maintain charts and GitOps configurations, and work with container images and CI/CD pipelines.
