Engineering Management Coordinator (VIE)

Take on a new challenge and apply your project coordination, performance management and digital reporting expertise in a dynamic engineering environment. You’ll report to the Engineering Management Office Lead and work alongside passionate, motivated and collaborative international teammates.

You'll specifically support the Engineering Management Office in driving governance, performance monitoring, resource visibility, continuous improvement and decision-making across engineering activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering Managers, Project Engineering Managers, PMOs, HR and Finance).

You'll be the person the team turns to for coordination, reporting, governance support and performance visibility. No two days are the same, but day-to-day you'll manage dashboards, support management reviews, coordinate action plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.

You'll specifically take care of:

Support the Engineering Management Office in monitoring engineering performance through KPIs, dashboards and management reporting.
Consolidate and validate engineering data from multiple teams and sites to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Coordinate management reviews, governance meetings, leadership workshops and operational reviews, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.
Support workload and capacity planning activities by consolidating resource demand, staffing needs and forecast information.
Develop, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, SharePoint sites and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making.
Contribute to the implementation and automation of standard engineering reports and performance indicators.
Support process deployment, continuous improvement initiatives and engineering transformation programs.
Coordinate communication and knowledge sharing activities across engineering teams and communities.
Support preparation of presentations, business reviews and executive reporting materials.
Ensure engineering documentation, repositories and performance records are maintained and accessible.

We'll look to you for:

Actively contribute to Engineering performance and operational excellence.
Support cross-functional collaboration and alignment between engineering teams and support functions.
Coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of information and reporting commitments.
Support data-driven decision-making through reliable reporting and analytical insights.
Facilitate communication and synchronization across multiple sites, functions and engineering métiers.
Promote transparency, accountability and effective governance practices.
Monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
Support management of engineering priorities and strategic initiatives.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management or a related field.
Interest in Engineering Management, PMO and performance management.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Ability to coordinate and collaborate with multi-site and cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Ability to understand engineering processes and business challenges.
Capable of working independently while escalating issues when appropriate.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to consolidate, analyse and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong presentation and communication skills in English and French
Knowledge of data visualization and performance management methodologies is an asset.
Experience with dashboard development and process automation is a plus.

Things you'll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey. The rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You'll also:

Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.
Collaborate with transverse and international teams.
Contribute to engineering excellence and strategic transformation initiatives.
Develop expertise in performance management, governance and digital reporting.
Utilize a modern and flexible working environment.
Gain exposure to senior engineering leadership and decision-making processes.
Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.
Benefit from our investment in your development through mentoring, training and learning opportunities.
Work on innovative solutions that improve engineering performance and efficiency.
Be part of a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
