Train Control & Monitoring Systems (TCMS) opens its doors to you.
The Train Control and Monitoring System (TCMS) team contributes to the improvement and troubleshooting of our customers' trains in service. Typical projects range from troubleshooting and problem correction to obsolescence management, including functional enhancements.
The TCMS includes an onboard application and a ground application:
The onboard part acquires train data, applies control rules and activates the outputs required for train operation. It also collects numerous train status indicators that are transmitted to the ground software via wireless links.
The ground application receives, processes, archives and makes this data available for consultation. This data is used for efficient train operations, as well as for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Your future role
Reporting to the Test Manager, as a
TCMS Software Tester, you play a key role in the reliability, safety and performance of TCMS systems. You are involved throughout the entire validation lifecycle.
You have developed strong knowledge and skills in software or system testing within complex and multi-system environments, you are our ideal candidate.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop scripts and tools to integrate testing activities
- Manage requirements traceability, diagnose complex issues and optimize test coverage
- Participer activement à l’amélioration continue des processus de laboratoire et au maintien d'un environnement de validation structuré et sécuritaire
- Adhérer rigoureusement aux processus, méthodes et tools en place correspondant à ces activités
About You
Beyond your technical expertise, we are looking for a passionate and committed individual. However, to fully succeed in this role and meet our technological challenges, you ideally possess the following key skills and qualities:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years or more in software or system testing in complex multi-system environments.
- Technique: Maîtrise du scripting (ex: Python, Bash…), des réseaux (ex: TCP/IP, Ethernet…) et des tools CI/CD (ex: GitLab, Jenkins…).
- Tools: Knowledge of databases (e.g.: SQL...).
- Soft skills: Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization (French/English bilingualism required)

Location: Saint-Bruno (South Shore of Montreal).
Status: Permanent, full-time (40h)
Model: Hybrid (3 days on site / 2 days remote).
Proficiency in both French and English is required.
