Role Summary
The Senior Software Engineer leads implementation of complex features and epics, owns technical design end to end, and multiplies the pod's output - both by mentoring other engineers and by modeling what AI-first engineering actually looks like in practice.

What You Bring:

5–8 years of experience, including leading feature- or epic-level work.

A track record of using AI coding tools (Claude Code or equivalent) to materially speed up delivery - you can speak concretely to how, not just that you use one.

Strong system design, testing, and mentorship instincts.

Comfort engaging directly with clients and stakeholders on technical topics.

AI-Accelerated Technical Design: Turns requirements into approved technical designs in a fraction of the time it used to take, using AI-assisted design and prototyping - the weeks-to-days compression this role is expected to drive for the pod.

Reusable IP & AltaForge Contribution: Ships or evolves reusable components into AltaForge or shared libraries that see strong adoption elsewhere - moving the AltaForge Clients and Same-Agent-Across-Clients north stars.
