Context of the project: The team is supporting financial operations, regulatory reporting, integrations and insurance/reinsurance systems. Main initiatives currently include Oracle ERP implementation/migration projects and other strategic programs.

Day-to-day activities:

• Gather and document business, functional and technical requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solution designs
• Create user stories, process flows, data mappings and runbooks
• Perform systems analysis, impact analysis, gap analysis and root-cause investigations
• Analyze integrations, data flows, transformation logic and monitoring requirements
• Work closely with architects, developers, QA teams and business stakeholders
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, cutover and post-production activities
• Ensure traceability, governance, auditability and compliance requirements are met
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and project delivery activities
• Collaborate on Oracle ERP/Fusion integrations and enterprise data initiatives

Candidate requirements

Must-haves:

• Strong technical BSA background (not a business-side BA) à Someone with a development background
• Ability to understand databases
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to read existing code/queries
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in Agile environments

Nice to have:

• Oracle Fusion / Oracle ERP experience
• Financial services, insurance or reinsurance experience
• Enterprise integrations and data migration projects
• ETL and data transformation experience
• Jira and Confluence
• Power BI
• AI-assisted SDLC tools (Copilot, Devin, etc.)

Soft skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High level of initiative and autonomy
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English

In accordance with our compensation practices, ALTEN is providing the salary range associated with this opportunity. Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including professional experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions. The current target salary range for this role is $100,000 – $115,000 per year OR $85/HR
