To support the growth of our client in the banking sector, ALTEN Canada is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer – DevOps & Full Stack whose role will be to support 14 teams in adopting mature DevOps practices and AI tools while actively contributing to full-stack software development.

What Will My Responsibilities Be?

Horizontal DevOps Support:Assess the DevOps maturity of ~14 teams and define improvement roadmaps.
Standardize best practices (CI/CD, automated testing, deployments) and provide tooling guidance.
Advise on the responsible integration of AI tools (Copilot, Cursor) in a regulated environment.
Full-Stack Software Development:Design and implement backend (Python/Java) and frontend (expanding scope) features.
Ensure code quality (reviews, automated testing, security) in an AI-accelerated context.
Own the full lifecycle: from requirements gathering to production deployment.
Mentorship and Collaboration:Train junior and intermediate developers in DevOps and AI tool usage.
Facilitate communication between technical and business teams (product owners, squad leads).
Propose innovative solutions for undocumented challenges.

Technical Experience:7–10 years in software development, with strong expertise in Python and/or Java.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.

Bonus Skills:Frontend/UI development experience.

Pour soutenir la croissance de notre client dans le secteur bancaire, ALTEN Canada recrute une·un Ingénieure·eur logiciel·le senior – DevOps & Full Stack dont le rôle sera d’accompagner 14 équipes dans l’adoption de pratiques DevOps matures et d’outils d’IA, tout en contribuant activement au développement de solutions logicielles full stack.

Quelles seront mes responsabilités ?

Accompagnement DevOps horizontal :
Évaluer la maturité DevOps de ~14 équipes et définir des feuilles de route d’amélioration.
Standardiser les bonnes pratiques (CI/CD, tests automatisés, déploiements) et outiller les équipes.
Conseiller sur l’intégration responsable d’outils d’IA (Copilot, Cursor) dans un environnement réglementé.
Développement logiciel full stack :
Concevoir et implémenter des fonctionnalités backend (Python/Java) et frontend (en expansion).
Garantir la qualité du code (revues, tests automatisés, sécurité) dans un contexte d’accélération par l’IA.
Prendre en charge le cycle complet : de la collecte des besoins à la mise en production.
Mentorat et collaboration :
Former les développeur·euse·s junior·e·s et intermédiaire·s aux pratiques DevOps et à l’usage de l’IA.
Faciliter la communication entre équipes techniques et métiers (product owners, squad leads).
Proposer des solutions innovantes pour des problèmes non documentés.

Je suis convaincu·e ! Quelles compétences dois-je avoir ?

Expérience technique :
7 à 10 ans en développement logiciel, avec une expertise confirmée en Python et/ou Java.
Maîtrise des pipelines CI/CD, des tests automatisés, et de l’infrastructure-as-code.
Connaissance des principes de sécurité logicielle (DevSecOps, gestion des vulnérabilités).
Expérience avec le cycle complet de développement (SDLC) et la revue de code (y compris code généré par IA).
Compétences complémentaires (atouts) :
Notions de développement frontend/UI.
Expérience dans le secteur financier ou autre industrie réglementée.
Familiarité avec les conteneurs (Docker/Kubernetes) et le cloud.
Savoir-être essentiels :
