Job Summary

Become a driving force in the transformation of sales and marketing analytics and join Optimum to help craft the next chapter of customer acquisition. As Staff Analyst, reporting to the Senior Director, Media & Marketing Analytics, this role is pivotal in refining our approach in driving Go-To-Market business decisions, innovation, and pricing strategy. You’ll dive deep into data-driven pricing and promotional analytics, uncovering key insights that inform our acquisition strategy, optimize pricing decisions, and develop solutions that immediately impact the business.

Responsibilities

Analyze pricing performance and promotional effectiveness & deliver actionable insights on price sensitivity, discounting impact, and revenue optimization opportunities.
Analyze impact of various customer engagement initiatives. Develop recommendations and sizing analysis for A/B testing. Develop plan for tracking impact.
Conduct complex data analysis in support of various analytic solutions.
Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
Be able to quickly provide the business leaders with daily performance drivers from top-line to granular footprints where applicable.
Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
Create dashboards that will be used for ongoing campaign monitoring and analysis.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
Develop reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
Act as a key partner with business and functional leaders on identifying opportunities and proactively provide key data insights to help them run their business.
Identify and define data quality improvements.
Create and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources.
Ensure compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.
Be agile and understand business requirements may be ambiguous and business direction could quickly dictate or change direction causing pivot in normal plans.
Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance as the business evolves.
Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering)
5-7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or data science roles
Advanced Excel skills with experience mining large data sets
Advanced SQL Experience, GCP-Big Query experience a plus
Advanced Tableau development experience a plus
Python experience, including statistical packages a plus
Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) and Business Intelligence reporting tools (e.g., Tableau and MicroStrategy) is preferred
Support broader management meetings such as: P&L meetings, Monthly or Quarterly Business Reviews, and other various Leadership meetings with visual or analysis support
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively
Strong analytical and interpretive skills
Ability to quickly identify business problems and opportunities
Be solution oriented and ideate, own, and manage out of the box data solutions that could be leveraged for future business strategies and solutions
Clear and straightforward communication skills, both orally and in writing
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Strong organizational and project management skills. Capability to document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations
Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $123,379.00 - $202,694.00 / year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Toronto is CAD 172,755 - CAD 283,811 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
