About the Opportunity

Our client, a large and growing organization in the transportation and logistics’ sector, is seeking an Accountant to join their finance operations team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll prepare and post journal entries, ensuring financial data is accurate and up to date
• You’ll perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• You’ll support month-end close activities including accruals, amortization, and reconciliations
• You’ll collaborate with operational teams to gather insights and ensure accurate financial reporting
• You’ll identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across financial workflows
• You’ll contribute to audits, budgeting cycles, and ongoing financial analysis

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Actively enrolled in CPA program
• Experience working with an ERP system, D365 or similar considered an asset
• Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and problem-solve independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams
