About the Opportunity
Are you a bilingual customer service professional who enjoys helping people and creating positive experiences? We're looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join a busy insurance contact centre, where you'll support policyholders with their questions, provide helpful information, and make everyday interactions easier.
This is a fully on-site opportunity within a collaborative, service-focused team that values professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude. With comprehensive training provided, you'll gain exposure to different areas of insurance while building valuable industry experience. Best of all, this is a customer service role with no sales responsibilities.
What's In It for You
- Earn $22.00/hour, or $23.00/hour if you hold an LLQP licence.
- Receive comprehensive training across multiple insurance business lines.
- Enjoy a consistent Monday-to-Friday schedule and free on-site parking.
- Explore opportunities to pursue LLQP licensing and transition into a sales role.
- Strong potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.
Your Responsibilities
- You'll handle inbound calls in French and English, delivering friendly, professional support to policyholders.
- You'll answer questions about insurance policies, accounts, and general coverage information.
- You'll update customer records, process basic policy changes, and accurately document interactions.
- You'll recognize inquiries requiring licensed advice and connect customers with the appropriate insurance professional.
- You'll navigate multiple computer systems while maintaining engaging customer conversations.
- You'll follow established procedures and service standards in a fast-paced contact centre environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous phone-based customer service experience is required, ideally in a call centre or contact centre.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a customer-first approach.
- Ability to manage steady inbound call volumes while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems.
- Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working fully on-site, Monday to Friday.
- Previous insurance experience or LLQP licensing is an asset, but not required.
