Your Responsibilities

You'll lead key components of the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, incentive planning, compensation summaries, and reporting.

You'll perform market pricing, compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, salary structure maintenance, and market position analysis across Canadian and U.S. employee groups.

You'll prepare, analyze, and validate compensation data using advanced Excel while developing reports and presentations for HR and business leaders.

You'll partner with stakeholders across HR and the business to provide compensation insights and support informed decision-making.

You'll contribute to ongoing compensation projects, including pay equity analysis, compliance initiatives, process improvements, and Total Rewards documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

3–6+ years of progressive, hands-on compensation or Total Rewards experience, with depth of experience valued over tenure.

Demonstrated experience supporting or owning annual compensation cycles, including salary reviews, bonus programs, and long-term incentives.

Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and Canadian compensation legislation, particularly Ontario Pay Equity.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, with the ability to analyze large datasets.

Experience using compensation survey providers such as Mercer or WTW is highly desirable.

Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or other HRIS platforms is considered an asset.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present compensation information to leaders across the organization.
