Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON, On-site, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required

Background Check Requirement: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

About the Opportunity

Join a collaborative and fast-paced organization supporting North American supply chain operations with a strong focus on U.S. and Canadian ocean imports. Working alongside a close-knit team of logistics professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring shipments move efficiently from origin to final delivery while helping resolve challenges that keep customers informed and operations running smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex logistics challenges, building relationships with global partners, and contributing to continuous process improvement. You'll have the chance to work across international freight, customs, billing, and operational coordination in a team that values accuracy, collaboration, and accountability.

What's In It for You

Join a supportive team that values knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Gain exposure to international logistics, customs, freight markets, and supply chain operations.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives where your ideas are encouraged.

Build your expertise in a stable, permanent role with opportunities to broaden your operational experience.

Your Responsibilities

You'll coordinate ocean and air freight quotes, vessel bookings, transloads, local delivery, and shipment scheduling with global vendors.

You'll monitor FCL and LCL shipments, update logistics tracking tools, and communicate shipment status and exceptions to internal teams and warehouse partners.

You'll prepare, verify, and submit import documentation, ISFs, customs clearance packages, and final shipping documentation for U.S. and Canadian shipments.

You'll manage shipment information, invoicing, and operational records within Epicor Prophet 21 while verifying freight and brokerage invoices.

You'll investigate shipment discrepancies, support non-conformance resolution, and help monitor trade compliance requirements including ADD/CVD cases and Canadian TRQ quotas.

You'll contribute to process improvements, maintain standard operating procedures, and provide administrative support during peak periods.

Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of North American ocean import experience, with a strong focus on FCL shipments. Exposure to air freight and South American imports is considered an asset.

Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to think strategically while managing detailed operational tasks.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Experience with logistics operations, billing, documentation, and customs coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 is considered an asset.

High attention to detail, integrity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Some post-secondary education is preferred. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Note from the Hiring Manager

"We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in getting the details right, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever the team needs support. If you're collaborative, organized, and eager to keep operations moving, you'll fit right in."
