Original job description

Full-time | Toronto, ON OR Ottawa, ON OR Vancouver, BC / Hybrid | Reports to Head of Enterprise Development

Salary: $90,000-$110,000 CAD plus sales incentives

About the Opportunity

Are you a strategic, relationship-driven sales professional who excels at opening doors, building credibility with senior leaders, and generating revenue within large organizations?

Altis is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to accelerate growth within the enterprise market. This is a highly strategic business development role focused on identifying, securing, and expanding enterprise partnerships that create long-term value across our organization.

Working alongside the Head of Enterprise Development and senior leaders, you will uncover new market opportunities, build executive relationships, and position Altis as the partner of choice for complex workforce solutions. You'll take a strategic approach to business development, learning how organizations operate, understanding their priorities and workforce challenges, and identifying where Altis can create value.

Beyond winning new business, you will help shape how we grow. From expanding into new industries and geographies to strengthening enterprise sales capabilities across the organization, you will play a key role in building Altis' future.

Success in this role comes from curiosity, persistence, and a growth mindset. You'll create opportunities, deepen client relationships, expand Altis' presence across business units and service lines, and convert those efforts into measurable revenue growth.

What’s In It for You

You'll join a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. You'll work alongside experienced sales and recruitment leaders who are passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. You'll gain exposure to senior decision-makers across a variety of industries and environments and will play a key role in shaping business strategy, driving revenue growth, and influencing the future direction of our business. You'll contribute to an organization that values professional growth, knowledge sharing, and leadership development.

What You'll Do

Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

Drive Enterprise Growth

Build and execute strategic business development plans that generate new enterprise revenue opportunities.
Identify and pursue enterprise organizations with strong potential for long-term, multi-service partnerships.
Develop trusted relationships with executive decision-makers, including VP and C-suite stakeholders.
Prospect and build relationships within new areas of existing accounts to increase wallet share and revenue.
Lead complex sales pursuits from initial engagement through negotiation and close.
Position the full breadth of Altis' workforce solutions to address complex client challenges.
Convert relationships and executive conversations into qualified opportunities and revenue-generating business.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline that supports sustainable, long-term growth.

Expand Enterprise Partnerships

Identify whitespace opportunities across business units, departments, geographies, and service lines.
Increase Altis' share of business by introducing additional capabilities and solutions.
Build relationships beyond existing contacts to strengthen account penetration and influence.
Develop strategies that drive account expansion, cross-selling opportunities, and long-term client value.

Develop Strategic Opportunities

Research target organizations to understand their business priorities, growth plans, workforce challenges, and stakeholder landscape.
Use market intelligence and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities and buying signals.
Build pursuit strategies for complex opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and service lines.
Identify opportunities that extend beyond individual hiring needs into broader strategic partnerships, enterprise agreements, and long-term revenue streams.

Expand Strategic Markets

Partner with business leaders to uncover cross-functional opportunities and accelerate growth.
Bring market intelligence and customer insights that help inform Altis' enterprise growth strategy.
Represent Altis in the marketplace through networking, events, and executive engagement.
Strengthen Altis' enterprise brand, market presence, and strategic relationships across target industries and geographies.

Collaborate to Drive Growth

Partner with recruitment, sales, and leadership teams to maximize client opportunities and revenue outcomes.
Connect clients with the right Altis expertise and service offerings.
Support major proposals, RFPs, and enterprise pursuits with a strong understanding of the client and opportunity.
Share market intelligence, stakeholder insights, and business development best practices across the organization.

What Success Looks Like

Opening doors within high-value enterprise organizations.
Building meaningful relationships with executive decision-makers.
Generating new revenue through strategic business development and enterprise partnerships.
Expanding Altis into new business units, service lines, industries, and geographies.
Increasing share of wallet within strategic enterprise accounts.
Building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities with significant revenue potential.
Converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
Delivering sustained, measurable revenue growth while increasing Altis' visibility and credibility within the enterprise market.

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of progressive sales, business development, or account management experience within the staffing and recruitment agency industry; open to exceptional performers with 3+ years of demonstrated success.
Proven track record of success in technology/IT staffing sales, with experience developing new business and managing strategic client relationships across specialized technical disciplines.
Demonstrated success generating significant staffing revenue within a shared delivery model.
Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to prospect, acquire, and grow net-new business, build relationships with senior decision-makers, and develop accounts from the ground up.
Experience supporting both contract and permanent staffing, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle, commercial considerations, and client engagement strategies across both models.
Comfortable engaging enterprise-level clients and senior executive stakeholders, understanding complex organizational needs, and developing tailored solutions that drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to uncover opportunities, navigate complex sales cycles, and position value-driven staffing solutions.
Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed revenue, pipeline, and new business development targets.
Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify emerging market opportunities, expand service offerings within existing accounts, and contribute to national and U.S. market growth.
A collaborative, entrepreneurial approach with a passion for building meaningful client partnerships and working closely with recruitment and delivery teams to achieve exceptional results

Nice to Have

Experience selling complex, consultative talent solutions beyond individual requisitions, including large-scale hiring projects, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), packaged staffing solutions, project-based resource delivery, or other multi-service workforce solutions.
Experience selling specialized professional talent solutions, ideally with exposure beyond IT into Professional Services, Marketing, Finance, or Executive Search.
