About the Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a global sourcing team within a large retail organization. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, and ensuring products move efficiently through the supply chain.

Working closely with domestic and international suppliers, distributors, and distribution centres, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating deliveries, resolving challenges, and keeping stakeholders informed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys problem-solving, and knows how to balance competing priorities.

What's In It for You

  • Gain valuable experience supporting global sourcing and supply chain operations in a high-volume environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Strengthen your expertise in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain coordination.
  • Join a collaborative team where initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll manage the full purchase order lifecycle, from creation and tracking to resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • You'll monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and proactively address shortages, delays, and overstock risks.
  • You'll work closely with domestic and offshore suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain disruptions.
  • You'll act as a key liaison between sourcing teams, distributors, and distribution centres to keep operations aligned.
  • You'll maintain accurate records, track operational data, and ensure information is reliable across systems.
  • You'll communicate updates, flag potential risks, and escalate time-sensitive issues to stakeholders.
  • You'll identify opportunities to improve workflows and support efficient day-to-day operations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain coordination, operations, purchasing, or inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience managing inventory, replenishment, purchase orders, and high-volume workflows.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to accountability.
  • Experience with global sourcing, international suppliers, distribution centres, or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Python, reporting automation, or process improvement initiatives is considered an asset.
