About the Opportunity

We’re recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing community healthcare organization that is scaling its recruitment function to meet increasing hiring demands. You’ll join a collaborative, five-person team where excellence, community, dignity and respect shape how people work together.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruitment role with two key portfolios: high-volume Personal Support Worker hiring and a diverse portfolio of corporate and professional positions, including Finance, HR, Communications, Client Services, RN/RPN and Social Worker roles up to the Manager level. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your portfolio while helping strengthen recruitment practices and structure as the organization grows.

What’s In It for You

  • Join a collaborative, supportive and relatively flat team where ideas are welcomed
  • Take ownership of approximately 12–20 requisitions across high-volume and specialized hiring
  • Bring creativity to sourcing, recruitment tools and process improvements
  • Informally mentor and support team members while sharing recruitment best practices
  • Join during an exciting period of growth with the opportunity to help shape an evolving TA function

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead full-cycle recruitment, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, pre-employment requirements and onboarding
  • You’ll develop creative sourcing plans and build proactive candidate pipelines for high-volume and specialized positions
  • You’ll partner with hiring managers to understand needs, establish priorities and recommend effective recruitment strategies
  • You’ll manage unionized and non-union recruitment while delivering a positive candidate and stakeholder experience
  • You’ll use Dayforce to manage pipelines, documentation, recruitment activity and reporting
  • You’ll identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes through better tools, automation and best practices
  • You’ll provide informal mentorship and recruitment expertise to colleagues while contributing to broader HR initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on full-cycle recruitment
  • Demonstrated success independently managing high-volume recruitment and multiple concurrent requisitions
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, with Dayforce experience considered an asset
  • Strong sourcing, candidate assessment, hiring-manager consultation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience identifying recruitment inefficiencies and implementing practical process improvements
  • Unionized, non-profit or community healthcare recruitment experience is an asset
  • Human Resources Management Certificate and CHRP/CHRL designation, or progress toward certification, are assets
  • Strong organization, prioritization and communication skills, with comfort working in a growing and evolving environment
