At Alto Vet, client care begins long before a patient enters the exam room. As a Client Care Representative, you will be the welcoming voice and trusted first point of contact for families, often during some of their most difficult moments. Alto Vet will be Gloucester County’s first veterinary hospital to provide consistent after-hours urgent care, along with preventive and wellness services. Our hospital model promotes transparency and trust by keeping families informed, involved and connected throughout their pet’s care. Initially, the hospital will be open Friday through Monday.

What you will do

Answer calls warmly, recognize urgent situations and promptly alert the clinical team
Welcome clients, explain wait times and how medical urgency determines the order in which patients are seen, and keep the team informed
Prepare estimates, explain payment options, process payments and coordinate discharges and follow-up care
Communicate with family veterinarians to support continuity of care
Support families through difficult moments, including euthanasia, with privacy and compassion
Maintain a calm, clean and welcoming reception area
Keep client and patient records complete and accurate
Providing client de-escalation and conflict resolution support when needed.

What you bring

Fluency in spoken and written French is required, bilingualism is an asset
Composure, kindness and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organization, attention to detail and comfort using computers, phones and electronic record systems
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, healthcare or a veterinary setting is an asset, but is not required
Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Chez Alto Vet, le service à la clientèle commence bien avant que le patient entre dans la salle d’examen. À titre de représentant(e) du service à la clientèle, vous serez la voix accueillante et la première personne-ressource de confiance des familles, souvent dans leurs moments les plus difficiles. Alto Vet sera le premier hôpital vétérinaire du comté de Gloucester à offrir des soins urgents réguliers en dehors des heures traditionnelles, ainsi que des services de médecine préventive. Notre modèle favorise la transparence et la confiance en permettant aux familles de rester informées, impliquées et présentes tout au long des soins de leur animal. Initialement, l’hôpital sera ouvert du vendredi au lundi.

Vos responsabilités

Répondre aux appels, reconnaître les situations urgentes et alerter rapidement l’équipe clinique
Accueillir les clients, expliquer les temps d’attente et la façon dont l’urgence médicale détermine l’ordre de prise en charge, et tenir l’équipe informée
Préparer les estimations, expliquer les options de paiement, traiter les paiements et coordonner les congés et les suivis
Communiquer avec les vétérinaires de famille afin d’assurer la continuité des soins
Accompagner les familles dans les moments difficiles, y compris lors d’une euthanasie, avec discrétion et compassion
Maintenir une aire de réception calme, propre et accueillante
Tenir les dossiers des clients et des patients complets et à jour
Intervenir auprès de la clientèle afin d’apaiser les situations tendues et de faciliter la résolution des conflits, au besoin.

Votre profil

Maîtrise du français parlé et écrit exigée
La maîtrise de l’anglais constitue un atout
Calme, bienveillance et professionnalisme dans un environnement dynamique et rapide
Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
Grand sens de l’organisation, souci du détail et aisance avec les ordinateurs, les téléphones et les systèmes de dossiers électroniques
Une expérience préalable en service à la clientèle, en hôtellerie, en santé ou dans le milieu vétérinaire constitue un atout, sans être exigée
Disponibilité pour travailler le soir, les fins de semaine et les jours fériés
