About Us
We're an innovative and disruptive global skincare brand dedicated to developing high-quality, medical-grade skincare products trusted around the world. Our collaborative culture encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork. We believe the best ideas come from people who are curious, engaged, and passionate about making a difference - and we empower our employees to do just that.
The Opportunity
Alumier Labs is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily fulfilment operations at our North York warehouse. You will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and maintenance, and lead a team that keeps our medical-grade skincare moving safely, accurately, and on time.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will set the standard for safety, quality, and productivity on the floor, and help us find better ways of working as we grow.
What You'll Do
Run daily operations
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, staffing, and workloads to meet operational priorities and shipping deadlines.
- Verify incoming shipments and resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, and order errors.
- Ensure products are stored, handled, picked, packed, and shipped according to approved procedures.
Protect inventory accuracy and product integrity
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Monitor product condition, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and lot traceability.
- Manage returned and nonconforming goods according to company procedures.
Lead and develop the team
- Train, supervise, and coach warehouse staff, setting clear expectations for safety, quality, and productivity in partnership with the Operations Manager.
- Build a team culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Keep the warehouse safe and compliant
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and security procedures, including applicable Health Canada requirements for the products we handle.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, and maintain equipment and storage layouts, coordinating with the Facilities Manager as needed.
- Maintain accurate operational records and support internal and external audits.
Measure and improve
- Track and report key performance measures, issues, and risks to the Operations Manager.
- Identify and implement improvements that reduce errors, prevent damage, and increase efficiency.
- Take part in internal training, team meetings, and company learning activities, and stay current on product updates.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Solid working knowledge of inventory control, receiving, order fulfilment, shipping, and workplace safety.
- Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a regulated warehouse environment (cosmetics, pharmaceutical, natural health products, or food) is an asset.
- Reach truck or forklift certification is an asset.
Working Conditions
This is an on-site role at our North York warehouse. It involves regular standing, walking, and safe material handling, including lifting up to 20 kg (45 lbs). Flexibility may be required during peak periods and inventory counts.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $68,000–$78,000 CAD, commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive group benefits, including health, and dental coverage
- Employee product discount
- Paid time off, including vacation, sick days, and a paid day off for your birthday
- Paid company holidays
- Wellness and volunteer time off
