General Overview:

The Full Stack Developer builds features end to end, from API to screen, in C#/.NET and React.

You'll join a small development team and report to the Director of Development and Architecture. Students use what you build within weeks. Projects center on various web platforms for students, partners, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain REST APIs and background services in C# and ASP.NET Core
Design database tables and write the queries behind them, with an eye on performance
Work on the data exchange platforms with partners and vendors
Write unit and integration tests, and prepare test cases with QA before each release
Review your teammates' pull requests and take their feedback on yours
Join refinement, estimate your stories and flag risks early
Help ship monthly releases to our test environment and fix production issues

Qualifications & Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience
Solid C# and .NET (6 or later), including ASP.NET Core Web API and Entity Framework Core
Production experience with React and TypeScript: hooks, state management, forms and API calls
Comfort with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
Everyday use of Git, pull requests and code review
Experience with automated testing (xUnit or NUnit on the back end, Jest or React Testing Library on thefront end)
Experience working in Agile sprints with user stories and acceptance criteria

Assets:

Azure (App Service, Functions, Storage) and Azure DevOps pipelines

Principales responsabilités:

React à l'intention des différents publics cibles
Concevoir des tables de base de données et écrire les requêtes, en surveillant la performance
Travailler sur les plateformes d'échanges de données avec les partenaires et fournisseurs
Écrire des tests unitaires et d'intégration, et préparer les cas de test avec l'équipe QA avant chaque livraison
Réviser les pull requests de vos collègues et recevoir leurs commentaires sur les vôtres
Participer à l'affinage, estimer vos stories et signaler les risques tôt
Contribuer aux livraisons mensuelles en environnement de test et corriger les incidents en production

Qualifications et exigences:

Excellente communication orale et écrite (français et anglais)
Détenir un BAC en informatique, en génie logiciel ou une expérience connexe
Posséder un minimum de 3 années d'expérience professionnelle en développement logiciel
Bonne maîtrise de C# et .NET (6 ou plus récent), dont ASP.NET Core Web API et Entity Framework Core
Expérience en production avec React et TypeScript : hooks, gestion d'état, formulaires et appels d'API
Aisance avec SQL et les bases de données relationnelles (SQL Server de préférence)
