Amaircare is a proudly Canadian manufacturer of premium air filtration systems, with all products designed and manufactured in Ontario. For over 30 years, we have helped residential, commercial, industrial and public sector customers improve indoor air quality through high-performance air filtration solutions.
Our manufacturing operation includes metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, filter production, assembly, inventory management, and order fulfillment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Operations Manager to provide leadership across our manufacturing and operational teams and help drive the next phase of Amaircare's growth.

About the Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading Amaircare's day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities while helping build the systems, processes, and team capabilities required to support the company's continued growth.
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, you will provide leadership across production, inventory management, purchasing, shipping, customer fulfillment, health and safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable leading people, improving processes, solving operational challenges, and maintaining a visible presence on the manufacturing floor.
Success will be measured by operational efficiency, team performance, inventory accuracy, production effectiveness, workplace safety, and your contribution to the company's continued growth.
In this Role, you will:
- Lead health and safety initiatives and ensure compliance with workplace standards.
- Direct day-to-day manufacturing and production operations.
- Execute production planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and actively support day-to-day operations.
- Oversee inventory management, material planning, purchasing, and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate operational data and reporting through Fishbowl Inventory and related systems.
- Work with shipping, logistics, support, and sales teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Monitor operational performance in order to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Support production hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
- Champion continuous improvement and help build systems/processes to support long-term growth.

What Will Help You Succeed
We're more interested in finding the right person than checking every box. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who enjoys building systems, developing people, solving problems, and creating accountability within a growing manufacturing environment.
Experience in any combination of the following would be considered an asset:
- Leadership experience within a safety-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Experience with production planning, inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with Fishbowl Inventory, ERP, MRP or similar operational systems.
- Experience working in a small or mid-sized manufacturing business where adaptability and ownership are required.
- Experience implementing process improvements, operational metrics, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and company leadership.
Most importantly, you are someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario.
- This is primarily an in-person role due to its operational and leadership responsibilities.
- Regular presence on the production floor is expected.
- Occasional travel for suppliers, training, conferences, or operational meetings may be required.
