Water Truck Operators - Class 1 or 3

Ambipar’s Industrial Services division operates a large fleet of modern Vacuum, Combo, Hydrovac, Water, Gravel & Winch Units across Alberta, British Columbia & Saskatchewan. Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Daylighting and Civil Construction Projects.

While operating our units you will have 24/7 support from our Maintenance, Safety and Operations Departments.

This application will list you as interested in operating Water Truck Units on current projects locally and across Western Canada mainly within the Edmonton Area.

Please submit a clean drivers abstract with your resume if possible for consideration.

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations
• Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements
• Complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments
• Attend daily safety meetings
• Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
• Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations as required

Qualification and Competencies:

• Class 1 or 3 Drivers License with Air Brakes
• 13 or 18 Speed Transmission experience (must be able to drive manual transmission)
  
• Clean drivers abstract
• Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive
• Confined Space
• PCST, PST, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance are considered assets
• Water Truck Operating Experience on Drilling Rig & Pipeline HDD Projects considered an asset
• Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug & Alcohol Testing
