Job Description
American Iron and Metal is searching for experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 License for more than 2 years based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.

Job Description
American Iron and Metal is searching for experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 License for more than 2 years based out of Moncton. Experience in any machinery is an asset.
- Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site;
- Secure the loads;
- Tarp the load, if necessary;
- Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition;
- Perform a daily inspection;
- Keep reports up-to-date;
- Always work in a safe manner.
- Other labourous and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Self Loader experience considered an asset
- Must be willing to be trained in Self Loader if not already
- Class 1 license, required;
- Good drivers abstract;
- Minimum two (2) years experience
- Follow all laws and regulations, in regards to driving truck;
- Responsible, careful and alert at all times;
- Willing and able to perform labour intensive tasks;
- Good knowledge of roads in the Maritime Provinces.

Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver loads for commercial clients and company sites, secure and tarp loads as needed, and keep equipment clean and in good working condition. Complete daily inspections, maintain up-to-date reports, follow safe work practices, and perform other labour and operating duties as assigned.
Requirements
A valid Class 1 license, a good driving abstract, and at least two years of experience are required. Self Loader experience and experience operating machinery are assets; candidates without Self Loader experience must be willing to train, and must be responsible, alert, and able to perform labour-intensive tasks.
