What we offer:

Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Timmins location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
Do general maintenance of the premises
Ensure the equipment in good condition
Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
Operate the Fork lift as required
Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications

Good Computer Skills
Experience in operating a crane
Experience in metal recycling considered an asset
Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
Good physical fitness
Ability to work as a team

Responsibilities

Receive, sort, organize, weigh, and track metal materials, and operate a forklift or crane as required. Maintain the premises and equipment while providing excellent customer service and following safe work practices.

Requirements

Candidates should have good computer skills, physical fitness, and the ability to work as part of a team indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. Crane operating experience is required; experience in metal recycling is an asset.
