We are currently seeking a General Labourer to join our team in Montreal-East.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys hands-on work and wants to grow in a dynamic environment within our recycling yard. The successful candidate will actively participate in the receiving, sorting, classification, and shipping of metals, while contributing to the smooth daily operations of the site.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, varied tasks, and teamwork. We are looking for a reliable, proactive individual who is comfortable working in an industrial environment where health and safety are a top priority.

- Sorting and inspecting metals based on their characteristics;
- Identifying different types of metals and assessing their quality;
- Weighing materials and preparing receiving and shipping tickets;
- Loading, moving, and organizing materials;
- Using various tools and equipment;
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety standards;
- Performing any other related tasks to support daily operations.

Responsibilities
Sort, inspect, identify, and assess metals, and weigh materials while preparing receiving and shipping tickets. Load, move, and organize materials, use tools and equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while supporting daily site operations.
Requirements
Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet in an industrial environment and demonstrate safe, professional, reliable, and punctual conduct. Teamwork, adaptability, and resourcefulness are expected; knowledge of metals and forklift experience are strong assets, with on-site forklift training available.
