Company: Amy Oliver + Co. (AOco)

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid / In-Person)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Compensation: $78,000 base salary + performance-based annual bonus

Position overview

At Amy Oliver + Co., we believe that exceptional client work begins with a team that feels supported, clear on their goals, and set up to thrive. The Manager, Marketing Operations & Delivery leads our marketing execution team, caring for both how our work gets delivered and the people delivering it. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative strategy and day-to-day operations, ensuring our clients receive dependable, thoughtful marketing while keeping our internal rhythm balanced and sustainable.

You will guide and mentor a talented team of designers, website developers, and coordinators. Together, you will translate client goals into organized plans, maintain content calendars, track meaningful campaign results, and thoughtfully integrate AI tools to take low-value administrative tasks off everyone’s plate. If you are an empathetic, organized leader who loves bringing calm to complexity, creating clarity out of ambiguity, and helping teammates do the best work of their careers, this role was built for you.

Key responsibilities1. Thoughtful operations and service delivery
  • Own the flow of client work from initial intake and resourcing to final delivery, review, and reporting.
  • Create and maintain clear, easy-to-follow SOPs, templates, checklists, and review steps so high quality feels natural and repeatable.
  • Keep client projects and milestones organized in ClickUp, spotting potential roadblocks early and resolving them with care before deadlines are impacted.
  • Facilitate helpful, low-friction team rhythms, such as brief daily standups, weekly planning sessions, and constructive retrospectives, where everyone has a voice.
  • Monitor workload and capacity proactively so new client commitments are always matched with realistic, humane timelines.
2. People-first team leadership & mentorship
  • Lead, coach, and champion our designers, web developers, and coordinators with empathy and clarity.
  • Establish clear priorities and expectations, while providing kind, candid, and regular feedback that helps people grow.
  • Distribute assignments thoughtfully, aligning projects with each person's unique strengths, interests, and current bandwidth.
  • Nurture an encouraging team culture where people feel safe asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning from mistakes.
  • Support professional development and help onboard new team members smoothly.
3. Client strategy execution & relationship care
  • Translate client goals and approved marketing strategies into realistic, well-paced project milestones.
  • Serve as an approachable, dependable point of contact for clients on timelines, deliverable updates, and questions.
  • Present progress and performance insights in plain, welcoming language, turning client feedback into constructive next steps.
  • Support AOco's own internal marketing and brand initiatives in close partnership with leadership.
4. Content calendar & social management
  • Oversee and maintain monthly content calendars for client partners as well as AOco.
  • Partner with coordinators and creators to make sure content is scheduled seamlessly in Hootsuite without last-minute scrambles.
  • Review creative deliverables with a thoughtful eye for brand voice, visual polish, and factual accuracy.
5. Meaningful analytics & continuous learning
  • Track key performance indicators across client social channels, websites, and campaigns.
  • Prepare clear, digestible monthly reports that focus on real insights and practical next steps rather than overwhelming vanity metrics.
  • Look at operational trends, like turnaround times and revision cycles, to identify ways we can make our team’s work life smoother.
6. Practical AI adoption
  • Explore and test AI tools (such as Google Workspace with Gemini, Canva AI, Claude, and ClickUp AI) to help reduce repetitive manual effort in drafting, research, and project organization.
  • Establish sensible, transparent guidelines so the team feels confident and supported using AI ethically and effectively.
Qualifications and experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on marketing experience, including at least 1–2 years guiding projects, workflows, or team members.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or multi-client professional services environment.
  • A natural knack for organizing processes, documentation, and project tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUp preferred) and social media publishing platforms (Hootsuite preferred).
  • Comfort with website management (such as Squarespace or WordPress) and design tools (such as Canva or Figma).
  • A practical grasp of marketing metrics, Google Analytics, and social platform insights.
  • Curiosity about AI and an appetite for finding practical ways technology can lighten human workloads.
  • Warm, clear, and reassuring communication with both colleagues and clients.
  • A degree in business, marketing, communications, or related experience; an MBA or post-graduate credential is a welcome asset.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated professional services is an asset.
Personal attributes
  • You appreciate structure and enjoy quietly building it where things feel scattered.
  • You bring calm to busy days, helping the team reset and prioritize without panic.
  • You genuinely enjoy seeing others succeed and take pride in mentoring and clearing roadblocks for your team.
  • You communicate with warmth and kindness, whether celebrating a win or navigating a tough conversation.
  • You care deeply about the details and the overall client experience.
Compensation & benefits
  • Base Salary: $78,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Performance Bonus: Annual incentive bonus tied to client retention, on-time project delivery, and overall company performance milestones.
  • Benefits & Perks: Health care spending account, 3 weeks paid vacation, and ongoing professional development support.
How success will be measured (Year 1)
  • Client marketing projects consistently meet high quality standards and realistic delivery timelines.
  • Clear, shared SOPs and QA checklists are adopted across all core deliverables, reducing guesswork.
  • Client content calendars and monthly reporting run like clockwork with regular, transparent communication.
  • Workload capacity is visible across the creative team, proactively eliminating chronic crunch periods.
  • Team culture and engagement flourish: The delivery team feels supported, psychologically safe, and valued, reflected in high team morale, collaborative energy, and sustainable workloads.
  • Practical AI tools are thoughtfully integrated into daily workflows, saving meaningful time without compromising quality.
  • Clients feel well cared for, reflected in strong satisfaction and long-term retention.
