Business Data & Insights Developer – Power BI / SSIS / ETL

Client: Cencora / Innomar Strategies

Project: Data Efficiency Dashboards

Location: Oakville, ON (Work arrangement TBD)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months to start

We are seeking an experienced Power BI / Business Data & Insights Developer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI and SSIS/ETL to support enterprise dashboards, reporting, and data integration initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on Power BI development, including dashboards, reporting, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
  • Strong hands-on Microsoft SSIS / ETL experience, including data integration and transformation workflows.

Strongly Preferred

  • SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization.
  • Enterprise BI reporting and data warehousing.
  • Business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Highly Desirable

  • SAP BusinessObjects and/or Databricks.
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python, or PySpark.
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Build and maintain SSIS/ETL data integration workflows.
  • Develop SQL queries and data models to support enterprise reporting.
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting performance, and data quality.
