Job Title: RFS-1019621 - Intermediate Security Specialist - Security Architect
Working Status: Onsite.
Location: Regina, SK
Planned Start date: 11/30/2026
Planned End date: 12/31/2027
Note: There is a potential for overtime work depending on requirements however it is not guaranteed.
Position
Provide security specialist/architect expertise with operational experience to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps. The resource will help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk, and provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations.
Mandatory Experience:
- Projects and support that include Cisco, Azure, network, storage, data center, server and related products. This should be from a security solution architecture perspective.
Desired Education/Certifications:
- Prior operational administration experience an asset
Desired Experience:
- Prior operational administrative work in infrastructure (Server/Storage/Backup/Network administration)
Education & Certifications
- Computer Engineering / Computer Science degree or equivalent
- CISSP, SCCP, GIAC or similar security training.
- TOGAF certification is an asset.
Deliverables to include:
- Detailed Solution Design (DSD): This includes comprehensive documentation of the solution architecture, covering aspects such as system integration, data flow, security measures, and compliance requirements.
- Technical Specification Document (TSD): This document provides detailed technical requirements and specifications for the infrastructure solution. It includes hardware and software requirements, network configurations, and other technical details necessary for implementation.
- Related advise, guidance and consultation and preliminary design and documents (CSD - Conceptual Solution Design, Discovery, Core Infrastructure Planning).

Responsibilities
Provide security architecture expertise and operational guidance to help Operations address security gaps. Assess and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards, and operational risk, and produce solution design and technical documentation.
Requirements
Experience delivering security architecture projects and support involving Cisco, Azure, networks, storage, data centers, servers, and related products is mandatory. A computer engineering or computer science degree or equivalent is listed, along with security training such as CISSP, SCCP, or GIAC; operational infrastructure administration experience and TOGAF certification are assets.
