Original job description

About AMZ Prep

AMZ Prep is an Amazon-first 3PL and commerce enablement company. We run 20+ warehouses across the US and Canada, move over 200,000 units a day, and support more than 1,300 brands.

We started as a fulfillment company, and we are becoming an AI and software-first one. Our customers sit at the center of that growth, and we are building a Customer Operations team to own those relationships day to day.

Our Values

Our team operates on a few simple principles. If you do not align with these, we would recommend you do not apply.

Win Relentlessly. We work hard and stay resilient when things get tough. We move fast, adapt when reality does not match the plan, and push to raise the bar every day.

Own the Outcome. We are responsible for results, not for having tried. We do not wait for someone else to solve the problem. When something breaks for a customer, we step in, fix it, and make sure it does not happen twice.

Be Humbly Confident. We are confident in our work and grounded in how we treat people. We communicate directly, avoid politics and ego, and call out problems early instead of managing around them.

Obsess Over Data. Numbers decide. We measure before and after, we quantify the value we deliver to every customer, and we let the metrics tell us when something is not working.

About the Job

Our customers are some of the fastest-growing brands in commerce. They trust us with their inventory, their delivery promises and their customer experience. We are hiring an Account Manager to own a portfolio of those brands after launch: their retention, their satisfaction and their growth.

You will be the primary link between your customers and our internal teams - operations, IT and finance. You will translate what the customer needs into what our network delivers, hold the line on SLAs, and make sure complex service programs run without friction. You will report to our Client Success Lead and work closely with Operations, Finance, Sales and Product.

What You'll Do

Own retention, satisfaction and growth across an assigned book of customers

Act as primary liaison between the customer and internal teams including operations, IT and finance

Translate client service requirements to cross-functional teams and hold the line on SLA adherence

Oversee the management and implementation of complex service solutions so customer programs run without friction

Lead and coordinate customer business reviews, bringing recommendations rather than just reporting

Audit customer invoices, track outstanding A/R and drive timely resolution

Partner with account leadership on work that improves service process, operational efficiency and financial performance

Keep documentation, meeting notes and action items current so account issues actually close

Identify growth opportunities and work with management to convert them

Feed customer input back into enhancements, product offerings and process improvements

What You'll Need

Experience in customer experience, account management or a related field

Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex service solutions at pace

Strong communication and relationship building across internal and external stakeholders

Analytical and detail-oriented; comfortable solving problems from incomplete information

Experience with financial processes including invoice auditing and A/R

Able to lead a customer business review on your own

Bonus Points

Supply chain, warehouse fulfillment or ecommerce background

Familiarity with SLAs and operational metrics

Business transformation or process optimization experience

CRM or customer service management tooling

Why AMZ Prep

Real ownership from day one. You will run your own book of customers, not shadow someone else's.

Access to leadership. You will work directly with the people running the company, and your recommendations get acted on quickly.

Better tools. We are building our own software and AI tools for logistics, and you will use them to see what is happening in your accounts before the customer has to tell you.

How We Hire (READ THIS)

We move fast. Here's what the process looks like:

Step 1: Apply + Culture Test. Submit your application and complete our internal Culture Test: https://culture.amzprep.com/t/amz-prep-culturetest

Step 2: Interview with the hiring team.

Step 3: Offer + start. We don't drag our feet. If it's a yes, we'll extend an offer quickly.

If you want to stand out, email our founder Blair@amzprep.com with your pitch and a 1 minute loom video
