About Analyticsmart

Analyticsmart helps brands, retailers and merchandising partners improve in-store execution through technology, analytics and industry expertise. Our Merchy platform supports planogram execution, resets, audits and compliance, helping field teams work more efficiently and accurately.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader with merchandising operations experience who can manage customer relationships, oversee execution and help shape product features around real-world customer needs.

The role

You will connect our customers, their field operations and our product team. You’ll manage customer engagements from onboarding through ongoing delivery, understand how merchandising teams work in stores and translate their needs into practical product improvements.

This role requires someone who can lead a customer discussion, observe a reset in-store, identify operational challenges and work with designers and developers to deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities

Customer management and delivery

Own day-to-day relationships with retail, CPG and merchandising customers using Merchy.
Lead customer meetings, manage expectations and maintain clear plans, timelines and follow-up.
Coordinate onboarding, pilots, rollouts, training and ongoing support.
Translate customer commitments into actionable tasks and coordinate internal resources to deliver them.
Resolve issues proactively and keep customers informed of progress, risks and next steps.
Support renewals and identify opportunities to expand Merchy’s use across customers’ operations.

Merchandising operations

Work with field teams and operational leaders to understand planogram execution, resets, audits and compliance workflows.
Visit stores to observe execution, support deployments and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and usability.
Help customers integrate Merchy into their operating procedures, team lead reviews and quality controls.
Assess operational results, including adoption, execution quality, compliance and labour efficiency.
Develop practical training materials and workflows for merchandisers, team leads and customer administrators.
Bring field feedback into customer delivery plans and product development priorities.

Product design and feature development

Lead customer discovery sessions to understand operational problems and define feature requirements.
Partner with customers and internal teams to design workflows, screen concepts and feature behaviour.
Translate feedback into clear requirements, use cases and acceptance criteria for the development team.
Evaluate requests against customer value, operational impact and broader platform needs.
Coordinate testing and validate that new features work as intended in real store conditions.
Manage customer feedback through development, release and adoption, ensuring follow-through.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in retail merchandising operations, field execution, resets or a closely related area.
Direct experience with planograms, store resets and managing or supporting merchandising teams.
Experience managing customer relationships and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Ability to translate operational needs into software requirements and practical user workflows.
Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working with developers and product designers; coding experience is not required.
A hands-on approach, with the confidence to hold teams accountable and manage competing priorities.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including customer meetings, store visits, pilots and rollouts.

Experience implementing merchandising technology, working with image recognition tools or supporting large retail deployments is an asset. French language skills are also an asset.

Customers receive proactive communication and reliable delivery.
Field teams confidently adopt Merchy and use it effectively.
Customer needs become clearly defined, useful product features.
Pilots and rollouts are well coordinated, with issues resolved promptly.
Customers can demonstrate improvements in execution quality, compliance and efficiency.

Location and travel

Based in Toronto, with three days per week in the office and travel up to 20% based on customer and deployment needs.
