About Analyticsmart

Analyticsmart helps retailers, consumer goods brands and merchandising partners improve in-store execution through technology, analytics and industry expertise. Our Merchy app supports planogram execution, store resets, image recognition, compliance validation and field team coordination.

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced merchandising operations professional to lead customer implementations and help customers successfully adopt Merchy.

You will own the customer journey from initial discovery through configuration, pilot testing, training, launch and ongoing improvement. You will work directly with customer leadership, field teams and our product and development teams to translate real-world merchandising needs into practical workflows and app features.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how merchandising programs run, builds strong customer relationships and takes ownership of delivery.

What you will do

Lead customer onboarding and implementation

Understand each customer’s merchandising operations, store workflows, execution requirements and business objectives.
Build and manage implementation plans, including scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies and launch readiness.
Coordinate customer stakeholders and internal teams to deliver pilots and rollouts on schedule.
Ensure planograms, product information, store data and user access are ready for deployment.
Lead customer meetings, communicate progress and resolve issues that could affect delivery.

Support merchandising execution and adoption

Work with merchandising leaders, supervisors and field teams to embed Merchy into their daily operations.
Conduct app demonstrations, training sessions and in-store walkthroughs.
Observe live resets and store execution to identify workflow gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Develop training materials, operating procedures and practical guidance for different user groups.
Monitor adoption, execution quality and customer feedback, and take action where performance falls short.

Shape product features with customers

Lead discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and proposed enhancements.
Translate operational needs into clear requirements, workflow designs and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with product and development teams on feature design, prioritization and delivery.
Test new functionality against real customer scenarios and coordinate customer acceptance testing.
Help customers adopt new features and assess whether they deliver the intended results.

Manage ongoing customer delivery

Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers.
Maintain clear action plans, follow through on commitments and coordinate escalations.
Lead regular business reviews covering adoption, compliance, execution efficiency and improvement priorities.
Identify opportunities to expand Merchy’s use across stores, categories and teams.

What you bring

At least five years of relevant experience in merchandising operations, retail execution, field operations or customer implementation.
Direct experience managing planogram resets, relines or multi-store merchandising programs.
Experience working with retailers, CPG brands or third-party merchandising organizations.
A track record of managing customer relationships and delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Practical understanding of field team challenges, including scheduling, store readiness, execution standards and compliance.
Experience introducing new systems, training users or leading operational change.
The ability to translate customer needs into clear processes and product requirements.
Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working with mobile apps, reporting tools and operational data.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including in-store visits and customer launches.

Experience that would be an asset

Implementation of merchandising, retail execution or field management software.
Familiarity with Blue Yonder/JDA, Spaceman or other planogram systems.
Experience supporting enterprise customers and large store networks.
Exposure to image recognition, planogram compliance or execution analytics.
French-language proficiency.

Customer issues are resolved promptly, with consistent communication and follow-through.
Product enhancements reflect actual in-store needs.
