Original job description

As the first equipment manufacturer in Canada and a world leader in the design of hydroelectric turbines, Andritz Canada has more than 185 years of know-how.

The Chambly facility designs, manufactures, and installs electrical equipment primarily for the hydroelectric sector, but also for other industry segments. The wiring technician will install and wire parts and equipment in our electrical cabinets according to engineering drawings. All in compliance with CSA/UL standards and customer requirements. We manufacture custom panels in our Chambly workshop. This position reports to the Production Manager.

What will you do ?

Install parts and equipment in the electrical control box according to the engineering drawings;
Install the cabling linking the various components and equipment used for protection and control in hydroelectric power plants;
Carry out verifications according to CSA/UL standards before final inspection and installation in plants or industries;
Etc.
