Original job description

Antasphere is an AI product studio in Brussels. Alongside our own products, we build custom software for clients: each engagement is a signed project that needs someone to own it from kickoff to delivery and beyond. That someone is you.

On site in Brussels with our clients

French required, English is the working language
long-term freelance collaboration with equity
start as soon as possible.

The role

You join after the deal is signed. There is no sales in this job. From the first kickoff call, you are the client's single point of contact and the person who builds what they need.

Concretely, You Run The Full Loop On Your Projects

Sit with the client, understand their process, and translate it into a scoped solution. Say no to the faster horse.
Build that solution using our internal platform: products, templates, and agent tooling that generate most of the software for you.
Verify what gets built. You are accountable for the system being coherent, correct, and maintainable, not for writing every line yourself.
Ship it, present it to the client, iterate on their feedback, and keep it running.

Half your time is spent with clients, mostly in French and often at their office; half with the product. You own the outcome end to end.

Who our clients are

Founders spinning a new product out of their industry knowledge, SMEs and larger organisations that need an internal tool, a client portal or a full SaaS built for them. Engagements run from a few weeks to multi-month platform builds. Delivery is faster than it used to be; the bottleneck is finding the right problem and managing expectations. That part is the job.

How we build

We are an AI-native company. Builds are driven through our own agent-first tooling, which means the raw implementation is largely generated and streamlined. Your value is not typing speed: it is judgment. You need to read a system, spot when something generated is wrong or incoherent, and steer the build so the whole thing holds together.

Who we are looking for

Three or more years building software, with at least one client project you owned end to end: scoping, delivery, support.
Technical enough to reason about systems: data models, APIs, integrations, and how the pieces fit. We run TypeScript, SvelteKit, Postgres, Cloudflare and GCP.
Already working agent-first: you can tell us, in detail, the last time you overrode an AI's reasonable suggestion and why.
At ease leading a client conversation in French and explaining a technical decision to someone with no technical background.
Based in Belgium or within commuting distance of Brussels, available on site at clients several days a week.
An owner. You do not hand off, escalate by default, or wait for a spec. Given a signed project, you drive it to done.
Comfortable with the risk profile of an early-stage company: two founders, first revenue, no funding round yet.

What this role is not

Not a remote role, wherever you are.
Not a calm, stable setup: the pace is founders' pace.
Not a sales role: deals arrive signed.
Not a deep specialist engineering role: our platform carries the heavy lifting, breadth wins here.
Not a project manager role either: you build, you do not just coordinate.

The package

A long-term collaboration agreement: you work with us as an independent contractor and invoice monthly, on an engagement we intend to be long term. That changes the paperwork, not the substance.
A monthly fee plus equity: you choose where you sit between cash and ownership.
Incentive mechanisms tied to the company's growth, shared by the whole team, and a referral commission on business you bring in.

We walk through the full structure and the numbers with each candidate in the first call.

How we hire

About three weeks, and you never wait more than a week without news from us.

Apply with a CV or a portfolio link, through the contact form or by email to team@antasphere.com.
Screening call, 30 minutes with Luca: the role, the package, the practical constraints (location, French, on-site days, start date, current commitments), and your questions. Answer within 48 hours.
Interview, 60 minutes with both founders: the same questions for every candidate; the case questions are sent with the invitation so you can prepare.
Offer call, 30 minutes: the package discussion, our financials on request, a written offer the same day, one week to decide.
