Il s’agit d’un poste en présentiel, basé dans notre laboratoire à Saint-Hyacinthe, au Québec. Les jours de travail sont du lundi au vendredi, de 17 h à 1 h. Le salaire est de 23,08 $ l’heure.

Objectif du poste

Le/la technicien(ne) de laboratoire en sérologie est chargé d’analyser les sérums et autres échantillons afin de détecter les maladies virales et bactériennes, en mettant en évidence d'anticorps (Ac) ou d'antigènes (Ag).

Fonctions et responsabilités essentielles

Préparer et réaliser les analyses de laboratoire en sérologie.
Rassembler et préparer les échantillons pour analyse.
Procéder aux analyses des test d’Anémie infectieuse équine (AIE), conformément aux exigences de l'ACIA.
La tâche pouvant être routinières et de complexité variable.
Exercer son jugement dans l’évaluation et l’interprétation des résultats, ainsi que dans leur communication.
Vérifier quotidiennement les files d'attente et les listes en cours.
Conserver tous les échantillons conformément aux procédures en vigueur.
Assurer l’entretien des équipements de laboratoire.
Connaître et appliquer les procédures et l'utilisation du matériel de laboratoire.
Respecter l’ensemble des politiques et protocoles d’assurance qualité.
Suivre les procédures opérationnelles standard (PRO et SOP) applicables.
Être sensibilisé au contrôle de la qualité et à l'étalonnage des équipements.
Consulter des collègues expérimentés pour les tâches non complexes afin d'apprendre par l’expérience.
Effectuer toute autre tâche assignée.

Formation Et Experience

Diplôme d’études collégiales en sciences et/ou plus de deux ans d’expérience en laboratoire en analyses sérologiques

Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes

Compétences en laboratoire, avec une expérience de la mise en place, exécution et lecture de tests, ainsi qu’en utilisation d'instruments de laboratoire.
Souci du détail, sens de l'organisation et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément dans un environnement en constante évolution.
Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et/ou en équipe.
Responsabilité quant à son propre développement et de sa croissance professionnelle.
Engagement envers l’amélioration continu et volonté d'adopter de nouvelles méthodes et technologies.
Capacité à s'adapter aux changements et aux imprévus sans compromettre la qualité du travail.
Solides compétences en matière de communication, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral.
Maîtrise du français permettant de participer aux réunions d'équipe, de saisir avec précision les données dans les systèmes de l'entreprise et de comprendre les instructions écrites.
Faire preuve d'une attitude positive et d'une solide éthique de travail.
Compétences en informatique, incluant une bonne vitesse de frappe et une maîtrise de Microsoft Office.

Conditions de travail

Position stationnaire - Doit être en mesure de rester en position stationnaire pendant jusqu’à 2 heures.
Utilisation d’équipement- Manipulation constante de l’ordinateur et d'autres équipements de laboratoire avec précision et efficacité.
Mouvements physiques- Peut nécessiter de se pencher, de s'agenouiller, se baisser ou s'accroupir à l’occasion.
Manutention- Capacité à soulever, déplacer et porter des charges jusqu'à 50 livres.
Acuité visuelle- Aptitude à observer les détails de près.
Disponibilité horaire- Des heures supplémentaires peuvent être requise.
Les risques biologiques potentiels en laboratoire sont atténués par l’utilisation obligatoire des EPI.
Supervision-Travaille sous une supervision étroite ou modérée selon les tâches.
Risque et sécurité- Possibilité d’exposition à des produits chimiques potentiellement dangereux, conformément aux normes du SIMDUT. Une liste complète de ces produits chimiques est disponible auprès de la supervision du département.
