Aon is looking for a Project Manager for our solutions team within pension administration. The team works together to implement solutions for clients and manage internal projects. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate looking to familiarize themselves with pension administration OR an experienced pension administration colleague with proven project management abilities.
This can be a hybrid or virtual role with occasional visits to our Montreal or Toronto offices, as well as Canadian clients.

What The Day Will Look Like
The Project Manager works closely with clients and internal teams:
- Develop, maintain and implement a clear project management plan, including planning, execution and control.
- Direct and coordinate project activities, results and schedule
- Help to build an integrated project timeline, which includes the entire scope of the project, to effectively get results by leveraging the client, project team, and leadership
- Collaborate with stakeholders and review the schedule, status reports, issues, and mitigation plans
- Identify variances, work with SMEs to develop proposed corrective action plans, and immediately bring up project variance to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
- Control scope by implementing and monitoring a change control process and support the team with project management

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
The Project Manager is an extremely detailed self-starter, can self-manage their workload and projects, and adapt to the audience and evolving priorities.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in project management, business administration, math, finance), or equivalent work experience
- PMP certification or intention to acquire it within 12 months of hire
- 5-7 years of project management experience, an asset, or relevant pension and benefits administration experience
- A persuasive communicator who can influence, and negotiate. Has a track record of being able to influence indirect parties and shared services functions to accomplish client objectives
- Exhibits leadership and decisiveness under ambiguous circumstances, can create a positive and collaborative environment; encourages information sharing with team members and uses their strengths.
- Proactive, customer-centric, open to learning and adaptable
- Demonstrates organizational skills
- French-English bilingualism is required due to frequent interactions with customers and partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and internationally.
