Detailing Technician

Apex Esthétique Auto is a mobile automotive detailing company serving Vaudreuil and the West Island. We travel to our clients in order to restore their vehicles to exceptional condition. We are currently seeking a part-time technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform vehicle washing and detailing, paint correction (machine polishing to remove swirl marks and light scratches), and the removal of decals and vinyl without damaging the paint. Depending on operational needs, the technician may also assist with interior cleaning and vehicle preparation. Work is carried out on site at clients' residences and places of business, and the technician is expected to maintain a high standard of care for both the vehicles and the client experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong attention to detail, patience, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Prior experience in washing, polishing, or decal removal is an asset, though training will be provided to motivated candidates with a keen eye for detail. The candidate must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is considered an asset, as vehicles must occasionally be repositioned. Fluency in both French and English is also an asset, given our bilingual clientele.

Compensation and Conditions

The hourly rate is $25. The position is part-time, with a flexible schedule based on client bookings. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training using professional-grade products and equipment, and will work directly with the owner within a small team where individual contributions are recognized.
