Digital Product Manager / Product Owner

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager / Product Owner to lead day-to-day product delivery for an Agile pod supporting a large-scale retail digital platform.

This role is ideal for a business-oriented product professional who can independently own a roadmap and backlog, manage multiple initiatives, collaborate closely with technology and UX teams, and translate complex product decisions into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate will balance product strategy with hands-on execution , operating directly with Developers, Business Analysts, QA, Scrum, Design, and Content teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap and day-to-day direction of an Agile delivery pod.
Prioritize features, enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and backlog items based on customer and business value.
Manage multiple concurrent product initiatives through two-week Scrum cycles.
Partner with Business Analysts to review, refine, and strengthen user stories and acceptance criteria.
Define and track product OKRs, benefits, and measurable outcomes .
Build executive-ready presentations, roadmap materials, dashboards, and product updates.
Collaborate with UX, Design, and Content teams to define intuitive user journeys and experiences.
Represent the product/user perspective throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Partner closely with development, QA, BA, Scrum, and business stakeholders.
Present product recommendations and proposed solutions to senior stakeholders.
Support modernization and continuous enhancement of a large-scale digital platform.

The emphasis on roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, OKRs, user experience and product lifecycle management aligns closely with the original role specification.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, or comparable product management experience.
Demonstrated experience independently supporting or leading an Agile delivery pod.
Strong Scrum/Agile delivery experience.
Hands-on experience with roadmap development, backlog refinement, prioritization, and multi-initiative delivery.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
Experience collaborating with UX, Design, and/or Content teams.
Strong customer/user experience mindset.
Experience using Jira and Confluence .
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams without requiring hands-on development experience.
Comfortable developing executive-level PowerPoint presentations and product updates.
Ability to operate effectively within complex, high-volume delivery environments.

The original specification similarly calls for Agile/Jira/Confluence experience, communication, stakeholder management, analytical product decision-making and complex IT delivery experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Financial services, digital banking, or retail banking experience.
Experience supporting large-scale digital or customer-facing platforms.
Exposure to .NET and/or Angular application environments.
Product modernization / legacy transformation experience.
Familiarity with assisted-channel or omnichannel customer experiences.
CSPO, PSPO, or similar Product Owner certification.
