Intake Coordinator / Portfolio Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intake Coordinator / Portfolio Analyst to support the intake and governance function within a large enterprise technology environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a key point of coordination between business and technology teams, managing incoming requests from initial submission through assessment, routing, tracking, and follow-up.

This position is primarily focused on technology intake management , with secondary responsibilities supporting portfolio reporting, governance, and financial tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end intake process for business and technology requests.
Review incoming submissions for completeness and alignment with established intake requirements.
Proactively follow up with stakeholders to obtain missing information and keep requests progressing.
Maintain intake requests and workflows within Jira , including lifecycle and status changes.
Coordinate intake assessments and route requests to appropriate technology stakeholders.
Facilitate intake discussions, reviews, and regular status follow-ups.
Maintain accurate governance documentation, process artifacts, and status tracking.
Support intake metrics, dashboards, portfolio roadmaps, and reporting.
Assist with portfolio financial and forecasting activities as required.
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve intake and governance processes.
Collaborate across business, technology, and portfolio teams to maintain transparency and effective execution.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience with technology intake, demand management, PMO coordination, portfolio operations, or similar request-management processes .
Hands-on experience using Jira , including managing tickets through workflow/lifecycle stages.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel .
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder-management and follow-up skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent requests.
Strong business acumen with a pragmatic, customer-focused approach.
Comfortable working across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within banking, financial services, or another large enterprise technology environment.
Experience with Clarity or comparable portfolio, forecasting, resource-management, or timesheet-management tools.
Exposure to card-processing platforms such as TSYS .
Experience with Confluence and SharePoint.
Exposure to automation tools such as Jira Automation or Power Automate.
Portfolio financial-management experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Initial 6-month contract with potential for renewal.
Hybrid working model with 2 days per week onsite .
Candidates should be comfortable working within an enterprise governance environment and supporting a high-volume intake function.
