Description of Position:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator / Project Analyst to support the planning and execution of their new facility expansion and relocation project. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the project management team and IT, ensuring that facility, laboratory, office, infrastructure, AV, security, and operational readiness milestones are translated into clear IT deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.

The ideal candidate combines project coordination skills with hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, laboratory and office technology deployments, facility expansions, relocations, and operational transitions. This individual will provide visibility to the IT organization regarding upcoming project activities, facilitate cross-functional planning, track IT commitments, and ensure project information is communicated in a manner that supports executive and project governance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the IT representative within the new facility expansion project team.
  • Review project schedules, design packages, meeting minutes, milestone plans, and action trackers to identify IT impacts and required deliverables.
  • Translate project milestones into IT workstreams, action plans, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integrated IT project schedules aligned with overall project timelines.
  • Coordinate IT planning activities related to facility buildout, renovations, equipment moves, laboratory readiness, AV deployment, network implementation, security systems, and infrastructure commissioning.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather IT requirements and clarify project expectations.
  • Coordinate status updates from IT subject matter experts and consolidate information for project reporting.
  • Ensure IT risks, issues, and decisions are communicated effectively to project leadership.
  • Support deployment and readiness activities for:
    • Network and telecommunications infrastructure
    • Laboratory systems and instrumentation connectivity
    • AV and conference room technologies
    • Physical security and access control systems
    • End-user computing equipment
    • Printing and collaboration technologies
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of project coordination, project analyst, or project management experience.
  • Experience supporting office relocations, laboratory expansions, manufacturing facilities, or capital projects.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, AV systems, and technology deployment processes.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience supporting life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, GMP, or laboratory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more domains, such as infrastructure, end-user computing, networking, AV systems, or technology deployment processes.
  • Prior involvement with facility construction, expansion, commissioning, qualification, or operational readiness programs.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and construction project coordination.
  • PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience managing technology components of office and laboratory moves.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
