Original job description

Inspection Managed Account Representative

Business Development Leader

About the job

Tired of selling something people don't actually need?

Fire Sprinkler & Alarm inspections aren't “nice to have" - they're mandated by Federal, Provincial and Local code, recur each year, and are essential to keeping buildings and the people inside them safe. That means no economic-cycle whiplash, no discretionary-spend objections, and no quarter where your pipeline evaporates because a CFO got nervous.

If you're a hunter who's ready to build a durable book of business - the kind that compounds for years instead of resetting every January - read on.

The Role

You'll grow Vipond Inc’s Fire inspection business through their established customer base and hunt new fire system inspection logos in New Brunswick. This is a field-based, relationship-driven hunting seat - cross-selling, site surveys, target account development, and long-term partnerships built on value.

It is not a cold-call only, all day on the phone sales job. We win on trust, expertise, and showing up - not on pressure.

Prior fire & life safety experience is a plus but not required. We'll teach you the technical side. What we can't teach is work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine curiosity about your customer's business - that part is on you.

Why Top Sales Professionals Choose Vipond Inc.

Compensation that compounds. Competitive base + a bonus plan that rewards you again and again for every year of each agreement.
Backed by APi Group. We're part of APi Group - publicly traded, #486 in the Fortune 500, multi-billion-dollar parent and the largest Fire & Life Safety company on the planet who’s been around for 100 years. Stability, resources, and world-class support behind every call you make.
One team. Vipond Inc shares playbooks, training, insights, and best practices across the country, You're never selling alone..
Equity in the outcome. Profit sharing and Employee Stock Purchase Plan - you own a piece of what you help build.
Values-first hiring. Culture fit isn't a buzzword here; it's written into how we recruit.

What You'll Actually Do

Hunt new full scope Fire System inspection logos through referrals, networking and prospecting.
Build a disciplined territory plan with smart daily routing - you run your market like a business.
Present our value to General Managers, Facility Directors, and Building Engineers.
Negotiate and close multi-year inspection agreements.
Keep your CRM clean - accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast.
Stay sharp on industry trends, code changes, and competitor moves.
Partner with your branch team and Inspection Department Leader to deliver for the customer.

What We're Looking For

2 years of documented outside hunting / new-logo sales experience with a self-sourced pipeline.
Track record of defending premium pricing against low-bid competitors - you sell value, not discounts.
Comfort running complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals with sales cycles that can run 12+ months.
Self-directed territory manager - organized, disciplined, and productive with an outstanding team behind you to help deliver world-class inspections & service.
Strong CRM habits and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Based in Moncton New Brunswick.
Valid driver's license, clean record.
High school diploma / GED required; bachelor's preferred.
Working knowledge of fire & life safety systems is helpful, not mandatory.
Bilingual preferred (English & French)

What We Offer

Competitive salary + bonus plan
Equity-based profit sharing and Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Medical, dental, life insurance and pension plan with company match (as per Vipond’s current policy)
Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, fuel card, laptop, and mobile phone
Real career runway inside one of the strongest platforms in the industry

The annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus bonuses as outlined above.

One Last Thing

If you have a passion for protecting what the people of New Brunswick value most - and you're ready to build something that lasts - we'd like to meet you.

Background Check Requirements:

As a condition of employment, this position may be subject to the successful completion of the following pre-employment conditions:

Criminal Background Check
Reference Check

We thank all applicants for their interest however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace for all. If you are contacted for a job opportunity, please advise us of any accommodations needed to ensure fair and equitable access throughout the recruitment and selection process.
