Our client, a boutique wealth management practice in Markham, ON, is seeking a professional, personable, and highly organized Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of their office.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of an organization, takes pride in providing exceptional client service, and is looking for a stable, long-term administrative opportunity within a close-knit team.

The successful candidate will manage front desk responsibilities, provide administrative support, and help ensure a professional and welcoming office environment.

Compensation

$60,000 – $65,000 base salary
Fully on-site in Markham, ON (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and professional experience
Answer incoming calls, manage emails, and direct inquiries appropriately
Coordinate calendars, appointments, and client meeting preparations
Prepare meeting rooms and ensure the reception area and office are presentable
Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, printing, and data entry
Maintain organized records and assist with updating internal databases
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and office supplies
Assist with office opening and closing duties
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Take ownership of daily administrative tasks and ensure timely follow-through

Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience in reception, front desk, or administrative support
Previous experience in a professional office environment preferred
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
High level of professionalism, reliability, discretion, and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a small, team-oriented office environment
Seeking a stable, long-term role in reception and administration
Financial services or CRM experience is an asset but not required
