Our client, a rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturing organization, is looking for an
FP&A Associate to join their finance team in
Orangeville, ON.
This is an exciting opportunity for a CPA or CPA-candidate with a strong accounting foundation who is looking to move beyond traditional reporting and play a hands-on role in financial analysis, costing, forecasting, and business decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with ownership, the Controller, and operations while supporting a growing Canadian and U.S. manufacturing footprint.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
- $100,000-$120,000, plus a bonus of up to 25%

Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze product costing and profitability by product, customer, mold, and machine
- Perform customer and product family margin analysis, including price, volume, and mix analysis
- Support capital investment analysis and evaluate the financial return of major equipment investments
- Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models, and scenario analyses across Canadian and U.S. operations
- Partner with production and engineering teams to analyze financial impacts related to scrap, utilization, capacity, and production performance
- Analyze and compare operational and financial performance across Canadian and U.S. manufacturing operations
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved profitability, and operational efficiency
- Leverage AI tools, dashboards, and financial data to accelerate analysis and support business decision-making
- Translate financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for ownership and senior leadership
- Support financial planning and analysis related to the company's continued growth and expansion
- Collaborate closely with the Controller and broader finance and operations teams on ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- CPA designation or currently in the final stages of the CPA program
- Approximately 3–6 years of relevant accounting, finance, or FP&A experience
- Strong foundation in cost accounting and/or management accounting, with the ability to apply these concepts in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel skills and experience building financial models
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect financial results to operational performance
- Curious, analytical mindset with an interest in using AI tools and emerging technology to improve financial analysis
- Comfortable working directly with operations, engineering, and production teams in a manufacturing environment
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization
- Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex financial information into practical business insights
- Manufacturing experience is considered an asset
- Public accounting experience followed by industry experience is considered an asset
- HBA, CFA Level 1, or similar business/finance education is considered an asset
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools is an asset
- Exposure to cross-border operations, FX, tariffs, or U.S. finance is an asset
- Openness to occasional U.S. travel is considered an asset, but travel is not required for the role
