  • Manage month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal controls, and financial policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders as required.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability, operational performance, and cost management.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish financial targets and monitor performance against business objectives.

Cash Flow & Internal Controls

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cash conversion, inventory efficiency, and overall financial performance.
  • Maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify process improvements and support the implementation of financial systems, reporting tools, and automation initiatives.

Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with senior management and operational teams to support business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, practical recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members, where applicable.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5–8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Previous experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods, manufacturing, food and beverage, or another product-based environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, gross margin analysis, and working capital management.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements, management reporting, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
