Role : Azure Solution Architect
Location: Toronto, ON
Experience: 10+ years
Role Summary:
Seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable enterprise cloud solutions across Azure and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end Azure cloud, application, integration, data, and infrastructure architectures.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance, and technical design decisions.
- Design solutions using Azure App Services, API Management (APIM), and Azure Functions.
- Define REST API, microservices, event-driven, and integration architectures.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Bicep.
- Ensure security using Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, and Azure governance.
- Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring across delivery teams.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT experience with strong Solution Architecture background.
- 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
- Azure App Services, APIM, Azure Functions.
- REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.
- Terraform/Bicep and Azure security/governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred: Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, Mobile/Web Architecture, TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
