We have an immediate contract opportunity with one of our esteemed clients for a Data Analyst position.
ROLE: DATA ANALYST
Location: Mississauga, ON – ONSITE
CONTRACT
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 10 & ABOVE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support business decision-making through meaningful insights derived from data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Excel, data visualization, data analysis, statistical techniques, and data modeling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Monitor data processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and quality across systems and reports.
- Present complex data and analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Excel.
- Experience with at least one data visualization/BI tool such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques and data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
